By bus or minivan from / to Bangkok / Trat

Bangkok-Trat town : Leaving from Ekamai Bus Terminal, Morchit or Victory Monument to Trat town.

Trat town-Bangkok : Leaving from Trat Town to Ekamai Bus Terminal, Victory Monument or Morchit.

Every 1 hours start from 5:00 am - 18:00 pm, the journey time is 4-6 hours. Approx. 350-400 THB/person/way.

1) The Ekamai Bus Terminal is the main terminal for the eastern provinces. It is located at the Ekamai section of Sukhumvit Road which is also easily accessible by the BTS Sky train. Air-conditioned and ordinary buses depart almost every hour as shown in the timetable here. The trip is about 5 hours. Please check schedule at:

- The Northern Bus Terminal (New Morchid) is the other route. It is located at New Morchid of Kampaeng Petch Road. The trip is also about 5 hours. Please check schedule at :

From Trat to Koh Kood :

Go from the bus-/minivanstation to the Main Market (Talat). Outside the Main Market go to the stalls of either the Koh Kood Princess (Tel: 086-1267860) company or the Koh Kood Express Company (Tel: 087-7490030) before 11:00. They have free transport to the Laem Sok Pier every day. There you will buy your boat ticket to Koh Kood. There is also a free transport when you come to Koh Kood, from the boat Pier to Sunshine Resort. If you stay at a hotel or guesthouse in Trat they can also arrange the boat ticket and transport for you.

Please also note that if you miss all the boats available on that day, you will have only 2 options;

1. To stay overnight in Trat town. We can help you arrange all necessary accommodations in town.

2. To charter the whole boat. This option is expensive. Please check with us for availability and price.

Remark :

3) The distance from Trat town to Laem Sok pier is around 28 Km. (30 minutes.)

Getting from Koh Chang to Koh Kood

1. By speedboat ferry from Bang Bao pier on Koh Chang to Koh Kood. Please visit www.bangbaoboat.com

2. By speedboat ferry from Kai Bae Beach on Koh Chang to Koh Kood. Please contact resort

Once you arrive at Koh Kood, we will be waiting at the pier that you arrive. If you arrange your own transfers, please inform us of your schedule, so we will know where to find you.

- There is no ATM or Bank on Koh Kood. Please plan ahead for this. If you need money while on Koh Kood, there are some places where you might get a cash advance with your credit card at a charge of approx. 5-7%

- There are no 7-11’s on Koh Kood, but there are Local shops everywhere

- At the resort there is only 12call (AIS) mobile conection.

- The electric supply on Koh Kood can be unstable at times as the electric supply for the island is run on generator. Power outages are uncommon but can happen.

- Wi-Fi is slow as there is no Cable or Satellite connection.
